Donation Refund Terms

General Policy

The Bashar Falahi Foundation is deeply grateful for every donation we receive. Donations enable us to serve disabled persons, orphaned children, critically ill patients, and underprivileged students across Gilgit-Baltistan.

As a registered welfare organization, we commit donated funds to program activities as quickly as possible. For this reason, donations are generally non-refundable. However, we recognize that mistakes and technical errors do occur, and we are committed to handling refund requests fairly, promptly, and transparently.

All refund requests must be submitted within 30 calendar days of the original donation date. Requests received after this period will not be eligible for a refund under any circumstances.

Eligible Circumstances for a Refund

  • Duplicate or accidental payment (same amount processed more than once)
  • Technical error resulting in incorrect amount being charged
  • Payment processed after a campaign was officially closed
  • Unauthorized transaction — where the donor can demonstrate they did not authorize the payment

Not Eligible for a Refund

  • Change of mind after a donation has been processed
  • Disagreement with how funds are allocated within BFF's programs
  • Donations made more than 30 days prior to the refund request
  • In-kind donations (goods or supplies already received and distributed)
  • Donations made as part of a fundraising event or challenge

Refund Process

Step 1: Submit a Request

Email basharfalahifoundation@gmail.com with subject line "Donation Refund Request". Include your full name, email used during donation, date of donation, amount, and reason for the request.

Step 2: Review Period

Our team will review your request within 5–7 business days. We may contact you for additional information if needed.

Step 3: Decision & Processing

If your refund is approved, it will be processed within 10–14 business days via the original payment method. Bank transfer refunds may take additional time depending on your bank.

Payment Method Notes

Bank Transfer

Refunds via bank transfer will be made to the same account from which the payment was received. Please provide your account title, account number, bank name, and IBAN in your request.

JazzCash / Easypaisa

Refunds will be sent to the same mobile wallet number used for the original transaction. Please confirm the registered mobile number in your refund request.

Credit / Debit Card

Card refunds are processed back to the original card and typically appear within 5–10 business days depending on your card issuer. We do not have control over your bank's processing timelines.
